John at 5 Weeks

I took some pictures of Jack a few days ago.  It was super fun!  The poor kid couldn't sleep for all the flashes.

Macky's Lego Star Wars AT-AP Walker

Macky just finished his Lego Star Wars Walker kit.  He had a great time making it.  He LOVES Legos.  This one was a bit frustrating as pieces kept falling off and he had to protect the little pieces from little siblings, but he made it!  If you want to see more pictures of it, check out Macky's blog.

Home and Garden Show

Today Maddie and I went on a date to the Home and Garden Show at the fairgrounds.  Grandma Vonnie and Grandma Susie came along too.  It was raining, but we made it into the building with the home displays.  There was a clown inside painting faces, so we stopped for Maddie.

Artwork from Maddie and Ryan

The first two works of art are by Ryan.  We did the "S for Snake" together at our home with his playgroup.  It was super fun.  If I had more hands, I would have taken pictures of them making them.  The second one, "T is for Turkey," he did at the Skousens with his playgroup.  Tuesdays are his favorite because that is playgroup day!  The third one is a butterfly that Ryan painted at his preschool.
Maddie did the bottom two at school with her art teacher.  She LOVES art.  Her first picture is of cupcakes and the bottom one is a lighthouse at sunset (or sunrise...).

Maddie's Hair

On Saturday night I set Maddie's hair in curlers.  She was so excited.  She has been asking me to do it forever!  I thought that putting a shower cap over the curlers would help to keep them in her hair.  Unfortunately, while it did keep the curlers in place, it did not allow her hair to dry.  We she woke up in the morning, her hair was as wet as if she had just gotten out of the shower.  Bummer.  She went to church with very straight hair.

The Lindo Channel

Maddie, Ryan, Jack, and I went to the Lindo Channel for the first time this year. It was Jack's first visit ever! This is Maddie and Ryan being silly!

Next is a picture of me with Baby Jack. Maddie took it of us.

The third picture is Maddie looking out through the bike bridge.

The fourth picture is Ryan posing for me right next to the creek.

When I was a little, I used to ride my bike on the path in the bottom picture. Now, my little ones are running along it. It is so beautiful here!
