Wood for Stapfs

Spencer took the kids up to Greenville to help Brett collect some more wood.  Mac and Ethan were big helpers.  Mac even used a hatchet!!
Brett used a chain saw - check out that awesome helmet!
The boys worked hard and collected lots of wood.  Hopefully the Stapfs will have a warm winter!

Mac Earns Tenderfoot

Mac earned his Tenderfoot Scout rank and his Boy Scout badge.  He is receiving it from his leader, Brian Miller, above.  He worked very hard to earn this rank and we are so proud of him.  I missed this special night because I was in school, so I'm sad I didn't get to witness it myself.  But, Spencer was there with Grandma and Grandpa.

John's Rainbow Fish

John loves going to the gym.  He did his first art project this week.  He did not like getting his fingers dirty.  He was very pleased with his finished project which now holds a place of honor on our fridge.

Ryan's New Smile

Ryan lost another tooth!  He lost the second top front one.  He was VERY excited!!

Thirteen Years!

Spencer and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary.  We went up to the cabin again this year.  I spent most of the time studying, but we did manage to head over the Westwood to see Paul Bunyan and his blue ox, Babe.  We ate out a couple of times and Spencer cooked a nice steak dinner for me.  We even went for a run.  It was really nice to have some alone time.

John Loves Baseball

Little John loves to play baseball.  He does not want to play catch.  He wants to be the pitcher.  He throws the ball reasonably well, so I am able to occasionally hit it.  He always says, "Good job, Mommy!"
