Seal Beach for Christmas

For Christmas this year we drove down to Seal Beach, CA.  We went to see my Uncles, cousin, brother and new sister-in-law!  This is how we packed.  It was so nice to not pack a port-a-crib or diapers.  Now, the rest of these photos are not in order, but they are all from the same trip.
When we arrived in Seal Beach, Uncle Dick was waiting.  We let John sleep for a bit and then went over to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner and fun.  Macky killed me at the video games.
The beach was within walking distance of the home we rented.  The kids loved it.
This is a picture of the kids in a ride at Disneyland.  I wish I had more photos - but here is proof that we were there!
We also went to the Natural History Museum and saw some great dinosaur bones.  The kids loved posing in the picture places.

The kids love to made a gingerbread house at Christmas time.  They were really happy to make one with Uncle Steve this year!
What, you don't swim with a sweatshirt?!?

John was so cold!!

Spencer and Steve dug a huge hole and put Macky in it.  They did it again for Ryan.  They were buried up to their necks!  It was a bit tricky getting them out...

Ryan was eating his Christmas pie and enjoying his 3DS.
Aunt Kayla taught Maddie how to play solitaire.  This was a big hit!

Uncle Steve and Aunt Kayla gave Macky some money for Christmas, but in order to get to it, he had to figure out how to get it out of a puzzle box.  What a clever idea!
Steve would not let us go without a Christmas tree.  So, he went and got one - for a great deal of course.  The kids worked on making snowflakes to decorate and Steve put an awesome foil star on top.  It was terrific.

This is Ryan on the drive to Seal Beach.
Both Mac and Maddie were able to boogie board on this trip.  It was so fun to watch them.

This is the McDonald's on the way home - it was crazy crowded!!

Uncle Steve and Aunt Kayla got this fun game for Ryan for Christmas.  They had a great time playing - just look at that concentration!
Happy Holidays!!
