We have started a tradition. The first weekend after school gets out, we head to Lake Almanor with my Uncle Jim's family. This is our second year and we had so much fun! It was a bit earlier this year than last, so it was cold, but we still had a great time. The first thing that the kids do upon arrival is head to the beach.
My Uncle Jim's birthday was the Thursday before we went up the hill, so we had a nice chocolate cake for him. He really blew out those candles!!
While in Lake Almanor, the kids went over to the park and played baseball a bit. They also climbed around and had a good time. We went into Chester and did some shopping and some bowling. I wish they had a movie theater in Chester...
