The day after we got back from our big Yellowstone trip, Macky began Twilight camp for cub scouts. He was so excited. They hold it every year at the Elks Lodge. Last year was cut short by all of the fires, so Mac was really looking forward to this year. They have a bunch of stations set up where the boys can do things like archery, orienteering, panning for gold, etc. The picture below is of a sack race. I'm sorry it's a bit blurry.
On the last day of camp they got to participate in an egg drop. Uncle Brett helped Mac and Ethan prepare their eggs. The firemen came with their ladder truck and dropped the eggs from a great height. Mac's and Ethan's eggs each made it safely to the ground. Then the firemen sprayed all of the kids with their firehose from the truck. During this show, the boys' families ate a picnic dinner and watched. Marissa was nice enough to cuddle and hold John during dinner. Thanks Marissa!
